Upgrade components

Upgrade components can be added to weapons, armors trinkets, tools for gathering and weapons. They can be used to add an additional benefit or effect when the equipment in use. They can be purchased from vendors or other players, looted, obtained as a reward, or created by crafting materials. Upgrades can have cosmetic effects in addition to providing attribute bonuses.
Upgrade components can include inscriptions, enhancements and infusions. They are not generally available for general use and are only available on ascended equipment or certain weapons that aren't ascended from the Factions Campaign. Infusions can be recovered or inscriptions, as well as enrichments from equipment by using an Infusion Extractor Device or by salvaging using a Black Lion Salvage Kit or Ascended Salvage tool.
Phoenix Boxes unlike other upgrade items are able to be traded and re-used while still attached to the item that is being upgraded. These upgrade item s can be used to boost the quality of armor and weapon without the expense of Dilithium. They can double the likelihood that an item will receive a quality upgrade.
An upgrade component within an item can be replaced with a different one however, it will destroy the previous one (except for upgrades of legendaries and equipment with ascended levels). Upgrade components can only be added to upgraded items that have an identification level of zero or greater. If you upgrade a weapon already equipped with an upgrade suffix or prefix, the item will be named as it would appear on the game screen (for instance, adding the Radiant insignia to Canthan Armor transforms it into Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). A player can own up to 3 upgrade items at once.
Glyphs
Glyphs are a useful addition to any product, because they offer a variety of unique advantages and boosts. Some Glyphs increase the number of affixes that an item has, thereby increasing the power of the item. These glyphs can be found through the dungeons and some even be found in specific World Tier 3 areas. It is important to remember that glyphs can't be used on a character who has not created an area of root dungeons with the same depth.
To use a Glyph first, you need to build it from components and connect them using anchors. Then the component will automatically align itself to other components and paths within the same layer. If you don't want create the glyph using components, you can create it by combining paths and anchors. Drag an element close to the highlighted component to snap it into place.
Certain glyphs require specific conditions to be met for example, 25 Dexterity within a specific area on the Paragon Board. Some also require a certain number of Primary Stat nodes to be activated and can be a challenge to achieve. Some glyphs also have a radius, which increases as you move it up.
Glyphs can be found on a wide variety of items and can be added to any weapon, except for weapons of specific classes. Certain glyphs can be used with additional conditions, such as the requirement for a certain amount of damage to Dexterity or Attack damage on a specific portion of the Paragon board.
The Defend Glyph boosts the chance of blocking enemy attacks by five percent. It also has a 15% chance to make the Hero vulnerable for two turns.
Some glyphs can also be used on limited use tools, such as the Black Lion Chest and Trading Post. Adding these glyphs will contribute to the Combat Mechanic achievement.
The most common glyphs are the attack glyphs, which increase the ATK substats of Artifacts by a flat amount. These glyphs are especially beneficial for classes that employ weapons with a range, such as Warriors or Rogues. The Exploit Glyph makes enemies who attack the Hero vulnerable to damage.
Reroll tokens
Reroll tokens can be used for rerolling results that are rolled during an Action. They are destroyed when the reroll happens. Reroll tokens are accessible in a variety of ways, including dungeons and raids, or through participation in skirmishes. They can also be purchased in the store or from other players. They are particularly useful in dungeons or trials because they allow players to reroll rewards at the bottom of the chest.
For items in the range of 1, there are recycling points. When an item is recycled, it will add a certain number of points to the upgrade gauge. This value is based on the rarity of the item as well as its level. The upgraded item will not be able to keep its level when rerolled and the cost of recycling an upgraded item increases when its level increases.
Alternatively, a player can make use of reroll tokens to roll an upgrade item again, but this will not return the item to its original state or give it its original stats. This is a great option for players who want to reroll an item they don't like, but would like to keep it in their collection.
Three kinds of upgrade coins are available in the game: reroll, randomly generated, and upgrade. Each type comes with a variety of subtypes. Reroll tokens for instance are available in three levels: rare, legendary, and enhanced. Each level requires an item from its respective level to create an item of that quality.
To make use of reroll tokens, right-click on the Satanic or Angelic item in inventory and select "Reroll Token". Then, select a kind of token. The available tokens include Item, Weapon, Misc, 1hgun, 2hgun and Focus. The Item token can be used to create a new Item in any quality. A Weapon or Misc token can create a new weapon of the same faction.
There is also a possibility that the item could be upgraded to a different item that has more level and same extra stats. This will occur when the item is placed in the Pool that cannot be dropped or has been transferred to it as part of the Franchise Card.
