Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components

Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be slotted into armor, weapons trinkets and gathering tools to provide bonus effects or attribute bonuses when the equipment is used. Some upgrade items also have special effects when applied to an item of equipment. There are different upgrade components, each with distinct bonuses. Universal upgrades like gems and inscriptions are able to be used on any type of equipment. They provide smaller bonuses than the other types of upgrade component. Infusions are utilized in non-amulet equipment that is ascended and legendary equipment, while enrichments are used for some ascended back items. Most upgrade components can be replaced when they are inserted into an item, but doing so destroys the previous upgrade. The only exceptions are glyphs, which can only be inserted in gathering tools, and enchantments. Both are able to be removed and reinserted.
Insignias and enchantments will be displayed their names in the hover display of the item, while prefix and suffix upgrades will add their names to the end of the name of the equipment (e.g. for example, a Radiant Insignia on Tyrian Armor would change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The number of upgrade components added to an item will be visible in the tooltip of the item.
Glyphs
Glyphs are special characters that can be inserted into an OpenType font to add functional or decorative elements, such as ligatures, fractions, ornaments, swashes, registered trademark symbols and ellipses. The Glyphs panel lets you see and insert these particular characters along with normal glyphs, such as em dashes and en dieshes registered trademark symbols, as well as glyphs that do not appear in other fonts (such as dingbats).
Each Glyph provides an initial boost to the stats of the character. It also comes with up to four Secondary Stats that affect the glyph's radius on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a percentage increase that is multiplied after other bonuses are applied, with the exception of Speed Glyphs which directly increase the speed of the hero.
The Glyphs in your inventory can be activated by selecting them and then clicking the "enchant" button. This will open a window that shows the Glyphs that are available to you. Once a Glyph has reached the desired level, you can activate it. Select it and click the "enchant button". The Glyph you create will provide its stated benefit, and will also boost all other nodes in its radius on the Paragon Board. It's crucial to place glyphs in the best locations to benefit your build, and that is why it's recommended to prioritize Magic Glyphs early on. Some glyphs, however, may offer dual bonuses if certain conditions are met and therefore are worth checking out for.
Click the cycle widget to change the view of the Glyphs Panel. Each of these views shows the Glyphs in a different font.
